Recently painted CNW 6716,6712,6727 ramble east with 115 loads on a surprisingly snow less mid November afternoon.
The C&NW C628 fleet is stored for good as it turns out and here we have the replacements. SD60's 8045,8046 pass through West Gladstone with 100 loads heading for the dock.
CNW 6718,6709 are on the Escanaba-Green Bay general freight rolling 56 cars of mainly paper and logs downhill at Stephenson.
CNW 6723,6716,6720 work eastbound with 109 loads of Empire ore heading to the dock in Escanaba. All three Alco's look to have been washed fairly recently.
C&NW 6725,6708,6709 thunder past the dopot in Rock with 108 loads. At the time the building was still being used by MOW workers. A couple of years would see it gone with the MOW workers being base... (more)
