I was able to catch this eastbound with one of the new paint jobs. Unfortunately it was running second unit UP 6942. Actually there were two on the train, UP 6460 was in the mid train DPU's.

With the down grade, this eastbound moves swiftly across the Erda Valley.

I got the pleasure of catching a train with a KCS SD70ACe second unit. It also had UP 1996 as the mid train DPU. The leader wasn't much to look at, but the lighting was nice.

A decent looking NLR repaint brings up the rear of the eastbound MWCNP just east of Cajon as the train passes through Sullivan's Curve.

The MWCNP passes the westbound IG1LA at Faust, Utah.
