This photo is pure Pokey. A coal drag struggling to make the tuff grade as it exits the Vivian Tunnel and crosses Elkhorn Creek. As you can see, the old cement marker is still in use.
One would think these old UP units has paid their dues and receive some light duty assignments but not so. They are now earning their keep along the Pokey in coal service.
