The engineer on the LSE59 08 throttles up his ex. MoPac Geep 38 and his ex. SP B23-7 today, this as he is riding the tail of CWEPAH 05 into St. Louis.
The engineer gives me a friendly wave and a toot on the horn as the LSE59 15's light power runs past the beautifuly restored Washington station.

The power for the local passes west through Kirkwood Junction just after sunrise to begin Monday's work.
1 week later and unit 1091's headlights still havent been replaced, from what I understand, this is a FRA violation. Train is LSE59 17.
LSE59 10 comes past Kirkwood station at a good clip. Note that both headlights are out, how much of a safety hazard is that? The second unit is an ex MOP GP38-2.
