The first excursion of the day slides through the farmers crossing as it approaches Sunol with SP 5472 on the point.
Upon exiting yard limits at Brightside, SP 5472 and SP 5623 dash downhill into the depths of Niles Canyon, following approximately 5 minutes behind the daylight limited excursion.
With the first eastbound excursion from Niles to Sunol underway, WP 918-D is on the home stretch to sunol as it loudly announces its presence at the farmer's crossing.
