Cab ride anyone? A CBS News Videographer sent to cover the John Helmstetter story sets up for a shot that will give the viewing public a really close view of "Mountain Thunder" in action. Yes, this intrepid photog is in fact sitting on top of the cab versus in it. A railroad official stands behind him on the coal pile. Most of us who observed him climbing up there assumed that he just wanted some static shots. Shortly after my picture was taken, the train began backing up for a run-by with the gentleman still in place up there. When the 734 came roaring by a few minutes later with him riding the "iron horse" like Roy Rogers, most of us didn't know quite what to think. Hopefully, he had some type of restraints and some serious eye protection. I'm told that the video shot this day will air in the near future on the CBS Evening News. Hopefully, they won't show the public how it was obtained. All I can say is: YIKES!
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
