Remarks & Notes
Under The Stars: This little critter was once hidden away inside the BASF Plant right up the road from this spot, but now BASF/Honeywell is closed and a new paper mill, First Quality, has taken ownership and the unit wasn't needed, since they do not have a contracted company providing switching services for them, instead PICK provides it. This unit was landlocked on a section of track that was no longer connected to the new spur that was specially built for First Quality, so last Thursday when it was to be moved, a crane had to be used to lift the landlocked unit onto the new spur, and PICK 9504 pulled the unit to where it stands now. What's even more shocking, this baby still runs like a gem! Now owned by Johnson Railway Services.
