Original NS train No. 63 is stepping across the bridge over Middle Creek near the community of Banks, NC, just south of Raleigh, NC in December 1970 enroute Charlotte, NC. The cleared land in the foreground, extends to the left and beyond the mainline, and was intended for an industrial park with railroad access, but never developed as intended.
