Remarks & Notes
A lonely cow on the hillside seems oblivious to the passing of the Johannesburg - East London "Amatola", as it winds its way out of the Molteno valley with the Bamboesberg visible in the distance. This section is usually covered early in the morning, well before sunrise, but today's train is running six hours late. The power car at the rear of the train is painted in the newer version of the Shoshololoza Meyl livery.
