GE UM12C #4017 leads the late afternoon mixed train across Wangpho Trestle north of Kanchanaburi, Thailand. This famous wooden trestle was built by British, Australian and American POW's during 1943 as part of the infamous Death Railway. Obviously, the mixed train has lost all of its freight traffic, and now solely exists for tourist and local passenger transportation, however it retains it's name and number.
