Remarks & Notes
Former PLM (Paris-Lyon-Mediterainian) four-cylinder compound Pacific No 231K8 reverses into Calais Maritme station before taking the 'Fleche d'Or' (Golden Arrow) to Amiens where an electric loco will take over for the remainder of the journey to Paris Nord. This loco was built by Henschel & Son of Kassel, Germany in 1912 as PLM No 6018, later 6218 and 231C8. It was rebuilt as a 231K in 1947 and was finally taken out of service for preservation on 21st February 1972.
