Toward the end of the day on May 25, 1997, a Burlington Northern Santa Fe empty coal train passes through the growing shadows of Wendover Canyon west of Wendover, Wyoming. This scenic canyon is along the North Platte River on BNSF’s Canyon Subdivision.
