Berne, capital of Switzerland, by night, with house of parliament, seat of the Swiss government (Federal Council) and the parliament (National Council and Council of States). In the foreground several trains are crossing the large, 47 meter high 4 tracks Lorraine viaduct over the Aare river, built in 1941, with a main span of 150 meter. You can see two entrance signals of Berne station, which show "Proceed with 40 km/h, next signal shows stop".
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
