As Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District train #14 heads from South Shore, Indiana, to Chicago, Illinois, the six car train approaches the railroad's 11th Street station in Michigan City, Indiana. The station is a minimal shelter, not much bigger than a bus stop shelter - which, on this January 18th, 2016, day, with the temperature at -1º F (and a wind-chill factor of -18º F) makes waiting for a train pretty brutal. The CSS&SB line through town features street running down 10th and 11th Streets.
