Having just emerged from having the final touches added, Vermont Rail System's Vermont Railway SD70M-2 #431, ex-Florida East Coast Railway #101, has it's first official portrait taken at Rutland, Vermont. The #431 is still in need of inspection and some minor work but will be on the road soon in snowy Vermont. VRS wants to remind fans that the shop area is off limits and there's no need to trespass to see this beautiful locomotive, as it will be used around the system very shortly!
