Not long after her first post-SNCF overhaul, the "Princess", aka the ex-Etat 231G 558 Pacific, paid a visit to the port of Dieppe. This is not any more possible today. At that time, there was still a train to ferry-boat station. It was located on the right and in the back of the photographer. Today the tracks have disappeared as well as the "Dieppe Maritime" train ferry station. The wharf is reserved for pedestrians, tourists and cars, and the nearby waters are reserved for pleasure boats. It is all for tourism. The shops in the background are now almost all tourist restaurants. The new ferry boat terminal is relocated elsewhere.
