Cogwheel locomotive He 2/2 # 18 of the Rigi Bahnen, built in 1938 by SLM and BBC for the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn (VRB), is not often running in the passenger service. But every wednesday in summer, there is "Rigi Historic Day", with vintage trains in service. The locomotive is with cars B # 15 and B # 14 on the nearly level part of the line between Rigi Staffel and Rigi Staffelhöhe, running as train CC 1116 from Rigi Kulm down to Vitznau. On the left is a mockup of the famous steamlocomotive H 1/2 # 7 of 1873 with upright boiler, the original of which is running on several days this year for the celebration of 150 years railway on the Rigi mountain.
