It's the eve of 2022, and a lot has changed in Waycross since the implement of Precision Schedule Railroading. CSX Nº 4747, and its sister unit are among the many of older locomotive equipment has been placed into storage in for the time being. Ever since the practice of Precision Schedule Railroading took into effect as of late 2017 which is very convoluted, CSX had placed a lot of its locomotives and rolling stock into storage with an undetermined time frame or sold them to various of buyers over the years. Running longer trains with less equipment, manpower, and “lack of common sense” seem to be the “perfect idea of operating” railroads in the 21st Century according to “the powers that be.” Sights like this will continue to be prevalent throughout the system if Precision Schedule Railroading remain relevant. These are the opinion from an former employee! Image was shot with permission.
