| Out of the portal! Amtrak's westbound Pennsylvanian #43 led by P42DC 129 rolls out of the tunnel past the Gallitzin Tunnels Park. The park overlooks the entrance to the West Tunnel, which provides a great view of many of the major freight trains, and the Amtrak Pennsylvanians traveling in and out of it. The park also features a restored Pennsylvania Railroad caboose, PRR 477859. This particular N-5C caboose was built in June 1942. |
