On the rainy night of October 29th, 2023, Amtrak Hartford Line Shuttle 416, with GE P42DC 117 leading, gathers its final passengers prior to departing off of Track 12 at New Haven Union Station in Connecticut. Amtrak trains and trains traveling through the station without a scheduled stop usually use Tracks 1-4, but these tracks were out of service at the time due to catenary wire damage.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
