A somewhat rare daylight move of a San Diego-bound freight, BNSF H-BARSDG1-25A, occurred when the train transitioned off Metrolink’s Olive Sub and onto Metrolink’s Orange Sub at 11:00 am, as Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 770 (Goleta CA to San Diego CA), with CDTX SC-44 2118 for power, rounds the curve at the junction (CP Olive) in the distance. Chapman University students are being held up on their way to the school's Crean Hall. The freight originated in Barstow and is led by ES44DCs 7814 and 7317, with ES44C4 8255 and, on the rear, BNSF Dash 9-44CW 4324 and ES44C4 8217. Clearly there are no northbound trains at this hour!
