Sitting outside the yard office in Santa Fe Railway's A Yard is one of the rebuilt EMD end-cab switchers going through the Railway's shops. Built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe SW1200 2440 in June 1959, this locomotive was rebuilt into an SSB1200 in December 1973. While the upgrade was mainly internal, these locomotives had their trucks upgraded with roller bearings and the diesels received they then-new Yellow Warbonnet paint scheme.
