As the sun begins to rise over Amtrak's Albany-Rensselaer Station, the 18th annual Capital Region Toys for Tots train prepares for its second and day of operations.
DXC5333 and DXC5425 lead the east-bound TranzAlpine slowly across the Waimakariri River bridge, giving passengers time to take in the stunning alpine scenery.
With the City of Burlington in Vermont in the background, the Toys for Tots train is departing Port Kent on its way to Rouses Point.
