Remarks & Notes |
FEC 336 after it's overnight arrival from the limerock mines of Miami. Limerock is used in the making of cement, pavement, cinderblocks and other construction materials. FEC runs a dedicated overnight unit train (FEC 336 - 335) between Miami and City Point where it is unloaded and processed by Cemex (Formerly Rinker). Once there were quite a few rock trains but the slowing of the economy and construction has caused most of those trains to be abolished outside of this one. |
