Remarks & Notes |
On a humid warm tropical morning in the Nation's Oldest City whistles grow louder and louder. Then into view swings FEC 226 lead by two of FEC's reliable fleet of GP40-2's toting "stuff" back to Jax and some of it to CSX land. The GP40-2 has been the backbone of the FEC since the 1970's and many are still working hard on the mainline pulling intermodal along side modern power such as the SD70M-2. |
