Remarks & Notes
The huge 1-meter gauge Garratt 5918 "Mount Gelai" of the famous class 59 of the East African Railways, now belonging to Nairobi Railway Museum, on the way from the workshops to Nairobi station for a planed trip to Konza for Geoff's Trains/Tanago. Unfortunately the locomotive failed after a few kilometres near Mombasa Road, probably because of a broken superheater pipe.
