Grinsteins and grazers
A Burlington Northern coal train heads south near Bill, Wyoming, on May 12, 1995. With twelve-thousand horsepower of EMD SD70MACs screaming above, surprisingly the deer seem more interested in eating and in the photographer! BN SD70MACs were commonly called “Grinsteins” after BN Chairman Gerald Grinstein, who was influential in the development of BN’s final paint scheme.
