Ballast Train on the Southern Divison
After the SU-99 was annulled the previous evening due to a bridge which was closed for repairs on the M&NJ Hudson Secondary, the railroad quickly found another use for the SD60's and assigned them to a ballast train. After dumping ballast in Sparta the train is seen here passing the classic Newfoundland Station en-route to Kinnelon where they would continue dumping ballast. |
