Remarks & Notes
High in the Rockies of southern Colorado, the westbound Southwest Chief splits through the old Santa Fe cantilever signals. These are another historic feature along the former Santa Fe transcon, which is now used mainly by Amtrak. Most of the BNSF operations has shifted over to the current transcon, which runs through Texas and Oklahoma.
