Remarks & Notes
The blue hour begins to envelope the sky as the South End Cusseta signal continues to display its "clear" green light. This Absolute Block Signal is telling any southbound train that there is no oncoming traffic between here and the next meeting place at the North End of Opelika siding, which is exactly 11 miles away.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
