Remarks & Notes
One of New England's most obscure shortlines was the Moshassuck Valley Railroad, which operated just two miles of track in Woodlawn and Saylesville, RI, outside Providence. GE 50 ton centercab #8 was one of the tiny line's two locomotives, seen here switching a customer. The MV was purchased by the Providence & Worcester in 1982 and most of it has since been abandoned.

Trains pulled by modern GE locos, from Dash-9s onward. My favorite locos, probably because I worked for GE at Erie, PA.
