The clock on the station platform clock indicates that it’s shortly after noon in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. An MU train that arrived from Philadelphia is now waiting to return as an off-peak afternoon train. To the left, Conrail’s train that connects Lansdale to the outside world waits to sprint down the electrified North Penn Branch to Wayne Junction.
