We didn't really figure with Tuesday's forecast we would get anything for decent shots. Surprisingly when we landed it was sunny out and we made tracks to the UP Gila Sub around Shawmut. Here is our 2nd eastbound from Los Angeles, CA, (Savage Pacific Services) to Wilmer, TX, (Dallas Intermodal Terminal) passes the west switch of Bosque, the 1st siding east of Gila Bend. Fighting the 1% grade, this guy slowly creeps east towards Tuscon, the next crew change. This is the UP Gila Sub, ex Southern Pacific Sunset Route between Yuma, AZ and Tuscon, AZ.
