Susquehanna power is visiting Delaware & Hudson’s East Binghamton engine terminal in this January 1988 view. In about five months, the D&H will declare bankruptcy, and the NYS&W will be directed to operate the Bridge Line. The other three locos in this view, one each from Mine Central, Boston & Maine, and Springfield Terminal, will become scarce in these parts.
Crazy pool power consists, colorful gatherings of locomotives at a diesel service area, or a mixture of colorful locomotives in storage lines. A minimum of four different paint schemes required.
