Remarks & Notes
So far as I know the only helper district in Nebraska, BNSF's Crawford Hill presents a significant climb for the prevailing flow of tonnage out of the Powder River. While the show here has mostly consisted of coal traffic, the route also hosts manifest, grain and intermodal traffic destined to or from the Montana Rail Link connection at Laurel, MT. Thus the 6923 East with a couple B30-7B units is attacking the grade out of Crawford on a late August morning. Fuij Sensia.
