Remarks & Notes
The Strasburg's GE 44-tonner at Groff's, heading up a Lancaster Chapter NRHS picnic special in the mid-1980s. No. 33 was built by GE as the PRR 9331 in July of 1948. Note the lighter-weight iron, which has recently been replaced by 136-lb rail to accommodate the Strasburg's modern-day heavy freight service.
