Remarks & Notes
Northern Pacific S4 722 switching Rices Point Yard in Duluth June 1970. The 722 was built in December 1953 and retired in August 1972. These Alco S-Series switchers were the backbone of the NP in Duluth from the 50s to the early 70s. They were perfect for some of the light rail and sharp curves found at some Duluth industries.
