Trailing the 9283 are SP 9337, an SD45T-2, the 8002, a patched B39-8, and SP 8653, an SD40M-2 that was originally a GN SD45. The origin date of the 27th at North Platte, showing 4 days elapsed in the intervening 275 miles, shows that UP was still in the clutches of its service issues following the SP merger.
