Remarks & Notes

Most trains traveling east out of Alliance, NE are loaded with Powder River coal, but in the Nebraska sand hills along Nebraska Route 2, we traveled in our Chevrolet Impala station wagon alongside a BN manifest featuring boxcars from its merger partners.
