Remarks & Notes
A Denver-bound Santa Fe manifest skirts Palmer Lake in the Colorado town of the same name. The power consist is unusual, having three four-axle GE’s. Another notable feature is “D&RG 433”, a 2-8-0 on display seen just to the right of the lead unit. The consolidation, which operated in Central America, is now on display at the Colorado Central Station Casino in Black Hawk, and is lettered “Colorado Central 71”.
