Remarks & Notes

Milwaukee Road’s Milwaukee to Green Bay road freight rolls northbound through Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, in December 1984. Powered by EMD SD40-2 Nos. 130 and 17, the train is about halfway into its northbound journey, passing the the town’s old depot located off the Rhine Street grade crossing. I believe this part of Milwaukee’s line is now being used only for car storage.
