| My final farewell to the Kansas City Southern took place this morning as a pair of Southern Belles hustle east across the Kankakee River in Lorenzo, closing in on the final destination of Logistics Park Chicago. Today is the final day for the KCS as a Class 1, as it will merge with Canadian Pacific on April 14th to become Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC). |
