Remarks & Notes
GUTHRIE OK Sept 4 1978 — Santa Fe GP7 2795 is tied down at the station awaiting switching work. EMD built the unit (s/n 17450) in October 1952 and delivered it in silver/aluminum/white zebra stripe livery. On an unknown date it was repainted into blue body with yellow warbonnet livery. In January 1981 the Cleburne TX shops rebuilt it into a chop-nose GP7u with angled cab, refreshed the blue body with yellow warbonnet livery, and renumbered it as ATSF 2221. It was transferred to BNSF on Sept 22 1995. In January 2000 it was patched BNSF on the cab still in yellow warbonnet paint. In October 2005 it was rebuilt as a Radio Controlled Locomotive Platform.
