Remarks & Notes
PURCELL OK Feb 7 1981 — SD40-2 5106 leads a train which is tied down on a yard track. When a new crew arrives it will continue its trip south. EMD delivered the unit (s/n 786219-36) in October 1979 in blue body with yellow warbonnet. Morison Knudsen performed maintenance on the unit in April 1994 and placed MKM marks below the road number on cab sides. On September 22 1995 the unit was transferred to Burlington Northern Santa Fe. On August 22 1998 it was repainted into BNSF H1 livery and renumbered BNSF 6765. Corrections and/or additions welcome. My photo.
