For the first time in the society's existence, the San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society (SBRHS) created and flawlessly executed an open-to-the-public night photography session with Santa Fe 3751 and a flurry of reenactors on the evening of April 30, 2016 while visiting Fullerton a part of the annual Railroad Days event. Selling out the shoot in just under a week, the popular event offered photographers the chance to capture images of the locomotive under steam at night with the help of well-known railroad photographer Steve Crises' lighting, direction and tips on how to get the best shots. Reenactors from left to right include: private car owner, Conductor Bill Hatrick, Amtrak Coast Starlight and Southwest Chief Route Director, Eric Smith and Santa Fe 3751 fireman, Sam Calderwood.
