A classic pair of Canadian Pacific SD40-2's is in charge of an empty Herzog ballast train in Clinton, Iowa. Making their short trip down the UP Geneva Sub, the duo is seen passing the Chicago & North Western depot at the Fifth Street interlocking. Just up the line, the train will access CP River Sub trackage. In the next few years, UP plans to build a new bridge over the Mississippi River, which could very well put the venerable depot in jeopardy.
