Having tied the first half of their train down in one of the tail tracks on the West Switchback, the Bly Turn crew start the return move to the East Switchback to get the rest of their train.
The loaded Bly Turn arrives at the West Switchback. The green GP9 trailing is one of the three units Weyerhaeuser purchased from BN for use on the non-common carrier Woods Line.
The last Bly Turn arrives at its namesake to haul Weyerhauser's final train of logs in Southern Oregon. Lead unit OC&E 7602 was built as General Electric U25 demonstrator GE 2501.
The last trainload of logs to move over OC&E heads for Klamath Falls. The locomotive cabs were occupied by family of the crew and other railroad employees.
