It seems unusual to see a CP train with so much power on the head end these days, but today they're going "conventional" as they pass the Gerdau switcher.

The Calgary to St. Paul manifest is almost to it's termination point here at Dayton's Bluff. The mix of power on this was neat, although I almost wish the consist was flipped.

It's 100 degrees outside as H42 departs St Paul Yard for Humboldt with a former Milwaukee Road GP40 leading. CP only had two of these ex Milwaukee GP40s rebuilt into GP40-3s.
