CP 8102 comes to takes no 1,s incoming locos to replace them with 4 others equipped with dynamic brakes for the mountains.

By January of 1968, one of the last strongholds for SP's fleet of Baldwin roadswitchers was the Roseville yard and hump. Dound #5242 working the East end of the hump.

Baldwins were tough little coal haulers in the 60' and 70's. Monongahela loved Baldwins so much they even purchsed the second hand NYC RF 16 cab units.
