Northbound departing train is probably a turn/local to Patio Yard, as evidenced by the mixed freight. I like the matched set of gloriously unmuffled chuggers.
Oh they were turkeys but four of them on a big coal train was sweet music nevertheless. This southbound is nearing the end of double track on its trek to a powerplant somewhere.
I guess I like the oddballs. This unit started out on the Monon and somewhere along the line lost its upper headlight housing. Everything was apparently all right until CSX painters came along.
